From May 19th to 22nd, the art and heritage of Vera Pizza Napoletana will take center stage in Portugal. Our delegation will be led by an exceptional team: President Antonio Pace, alongside Stefano Auricchio, Peter Surace, and Gennaro Langella.

The itinerary spans across Lisbon and Vila Nova de Gaia, featuring a series of both competitive and institutional events:

May 19th | Lisbon (Pizzeria M’arrecreo, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Vera Pizza Napoletana Champion - Portuguese Selection: The program kicks off with the highly anticipated national selection. Portugal's finest pizzaioli will showcase their skills, competing for a spot in the final stages. Their craft will be evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising: Peter Surace, Gennaro Langella, Emanuel Correia Soares (Pizzeria Gorgonzola), and Tanka Sapkota (Pizzeria Forno D’Oro).

May 20th | Lisbon (Pizzeria M’arrecreo, 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

"Pizzaiolo for a Day" & AperiPizza: An afternoon dedicated to the press and influencers, offering them a hands-on experience to delve into the technical details of our tradition. This will be followed by an institutional "AperiPizza"—a dedicated networking session designed to taste and highlight the premium products of our partners.

May 22nd | Vila Nova de Gaia (Pizzeria M’arrecreo, from 7:00 PM)

Press Evening & Pairing: We will conclude our Portuguese tour by hosting the local press for an exclusive tasting menu. The evening will focus on the intersection of different culinary cultures, featuring a carefully curated pairing that brings together Neapolitan Pizza and the distinct, elegant notes of Port wine.
